Spindletop Refuge has been rescuing and rehabilitating homeless, abused and neglected pit bulls for over 18 years.

This coffee mug, offered for sale by Spindletop Pit Bull Refuge's Online Store, embodies the essence of the Pit Bull. Pitties are truly an All-American breed. Proceeds from the sale of this mug, and other items from Spindletop's store help rescue and rehabilitate bullies in need.

Pacific Coast Dog Rescue Pitty Shirt

This men's white t-shirt features an adorable white bully named "Coconut," rescued by Pacific Coast Dog Rescue. Proceeds from the sale of this t-shirt help Pacific Coast Dog Rescue help more wonderful pets like Coconut.

Pacific Coast Dog Rescue also has other items, like mugs, women's t-shirts, and sweatshirts featuring photos of their rescued dogs in their online store.

"Since 1998, PCDR has grown from a small operation placing a couple dozen dogs per year to a large animal rescue operation. We have a shelter facility in Burbank, CA which is currently licensed to hold 80 dogs, and growing. In 2003 we helped place more than 250 dogs into loving new homes. We have a team of amazing volunteers who come to our facility and our weekly mobile adoptions to help us care for our pups, and a larger team of supporters who help us by donating money, supplies, and other services."

Reekoe's Room Sweatshirt

Reekoe's Room is my online store dedicated to raising awareness about the plight of shelter pets. All proceeds are donated to animal rescue organizations. For June 2008, the proceeds from Reekoe's Room will be donated to Last Hope, Inc., a wonderful rescue organization located in Farmington, Minnesota.

This is one of my favorite sweatshirts. No matter if you are partial to a particular breed, as anyone who has adopted will agree, "Rescued," is your favorite breed.

Last Hope, Inc., has been a registered non-profit organization since 1985 dedicated to saving abandoned, unwanted and helpless dogs and cats. Animals received by Last Hope are examined by a veterinarian and given medical care as needed. Until permanently adopted, Last Hope animal stay in the homes of foster volunteers. Last Hope does not believe in destruction of healthy pets.

Saving Shelter Pets T-Shirt

This super-cute pink ringer t-shirt featuring a pink kitty is offered by Saving Shelter Pets, Inc's Online Store. I actually have this t-shirt in my closet, and it is one of my favorites.

Saving Shelter Pets (SSP) is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization. SSP facilitates rescues from high-kill animal shelters and promotes spay & neuter, in an effort to give all pets the chance at life they truly deserve. SSP is a small, all-volunteer organization with supporters and volunteers located throughout the country. SSP relies solely on donations to continue its rescue and spay/neuter efforts.

I Love San Diego Spaniel Rescue T-Shirt

This great "I (Heart) SDSR" T-shirt is offered by Crazy for Cockers which supports San Diego Spaniel Rescue. San Diego Spaniel Rescue is an all volunteer based non-profit organization dedicated to providing breed education, rescue, fostering, medical and adoption services for abused, abandoned and/or homeless Cocker Spaniels.

Catalina Island Humane Society Tiles

The Catalina Island Humane Society's Online Store features several BEAUTIFUL designs. I absolutely LOVE their tile coasters.


The Catalina Island Humane Society is located in the town of Avalon, on Santa Catalina Island, off the coast of Southern California. The Humane Society is the primary animal control agency on the island, and it relies almost entirely on private donations to continue its mission to help the Island's pets in need. Purchases of items from the Humane Society's Online Store help fund its projects, including TNR, adoptions, and anti-cruelty.
